Reflection on the Quote:

A message from Dr. Fariba Enteshari, Founder & Executive Director

The essence of our spirit is love, according to Rumi.

Our soul comes from elsewhere and we need to find the thread of our connection to this source…

Often, focusing on our breath and breathing in and out to become empty of all the noise of this world connects us to a space where there is nothing— yet we can sense this connection.
Only when we make an effort to have discipline in our search may we be rewarded to find ourselves in this space. Here, everything else goes away and the connection to our essence can be uncovered for a moment. Many describe this as  “coming home”! Through the collection of these moments we feel connected to a presence, of the ‘unimaginable beauty of love’.

Experiencing a journey like this lifts the spirit to a transformative level.

This journey of transformation is often described as a life with fewer worldly entanglements and a connection to something beyond them. We feel more connected to life as a whole and not as a fragment of a good or bad moment. We are able to see life and the role we play in life from the higher point of view.

We simply connect differently to daily life and have a better insight into life with fewer attachments to expectations. We can see life from a holistic point of view that becomes a prism through which beauty and love are illuminated.

It is the intensity of love that runs through our veins.

This is what Rumi calls the Wine of Love… The hope is that we can feel it.

هر که را جامه ز عشقی چاک شد

او ز حرص و عیب کلی پاک شد

“Overwhelmed by Love

I became purified.”
