The anniversary of Rumi’s death is known as Rumi’s Wedding Night. This year we have chosen to honor Rumi by focusing on legacy. For the anniversary of his death, we will contemplate not only Rumi's legacy but explore the concept of legacy in our own lives.
Join us for music, food, and Rumi, in a gathering at the Unitarian Society in Santa Barbara.
Please RSVP by December 14th
Dr. Fariba Enteshari with Kiana Ranjbaran, one of REC's interns who graduated from UCSB last year, at Rumi's Birthday celebration in October. Rumi's legacy is carried through generations. Kiana has been working closely with Dr. Enteshari for the last few years, learning more about Rumi's work and helping to research and share his teachings. This is one way we see legacy at the Rumi Educational Center.
